I need a pick me up. I'll light a candle just to feel a spark. And look around at everyone I love. Is there a bigger plan for all of us? Or do we need to write a better one? Is something wrong? I'll light a candle just to feel the warmth. Stare at the flame and see visions of when everything was easier for us. Does everything get easier? It starts with a blackstar on my shoulder. The needs grow, I grow older. Here comes the thought I've learned to hate. Closing ground on me everyday. How can I cope? It's all wrong. We break stride, we still move on. And the church bells that I hate are here to burn through everything. I'm looking out. We don't appreciate what we got. Till’ everything has fallen apart. It was never any easier for us. Will everything get easier when we're gone? We turn our back to everyone we loved. Then see a picture that reminds us all. And how is it that we forgot love? Well it will it be the same for all of us. It sparks. Then I'm branded on my shoulder. The same thing over and over. The black wont ever wait, Closing ground on me everyday. A thousand days what's after? In darkness we all shatter. Embrace me, don't wanna be late. Learn to mind me, I want to believe. Cosmic dust collecting , in here everything is one. I've been listening to this album since it came out and it is still as good as it was the first time I listened to it. Some of the songs just hit hard and are heavily relatable. It's really hard to even find music like that now. This music just has a very special place in my heart. Almost so good I don't want to share it but that'll just be selfish. Even though gatekeeping is such a big deal now some things are just better to share rather than just keeping it hidden. Anyway, thank you. alejandrodpr
